Following the Annual Wage Review 2023, the Fair Work Commission has increased the award minimum wages by 5.75%.
The changes apply from the first pay period starting on or after 1 July 2023.
This applies to all states except Western Australia and we would expect the standard hourly rate for a nanny or au pair over 21 year old on Level 2 under the Miscellaneous Award to increase as follows:
Permanent employee- $24.07 per hour
Casual employee – $30.09 per hour
