Minimum Wage Increases 2.5%

Following the Fair Work Commission’s 2021 Annual Wage Review decision, minimum wages are set to increase by 2.5%, on the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July. This increase will affect hourly rates as well as public holidays and other penalties in all employees.

Under the Miscellaneous Award, for nannies and domestic staff over 21 classified as Level 2, the minimum hourly rate are as follows:

Permanent Staff minimum wage increases from $21.20 per hour to $21.72 per hour

Casual Staff minimum wage increases from $26.50 per hour to $27.15 per hour
